Real Madrid will take on Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarter-final and their star midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has become a doubt, reported Spanish news outlet Relovo on Sunday.
Tchouameni is one of Madrid’s most important players and Los Blancos have not yet lost a match this season this season whenever the Frenchman started.
There have been no details as to why the Frenchman is expected to miss the match as there have been no reports of any injury in a training session.
Regardless, as per Relovo, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will think of going with the centre-back pairing of Antonio Rudiger and Nacho Fernandez as Eder Militao, who played last week after returning from an ACL injury, is still not ready to start a match of high intensity.

Earlier today, it was reported that Chelsea are planning a bold move and are eager to add Madrid’s Tchouameni to their squad as they would be willing to offer captain Reece James in a significant player-plus-cash deal.
The Blues are aware that Madrid have previously expressed interest in signing James as a potential successor to current right-back Dani Carvajal. Consequently, they believe they can use James as leverage to persuade Madrid to part ways with Tchouameni.
